Hi everyone !
This is a first time I post a message here. If I post my message in a
wrong group. Please ignore it.
I am trying to build a website which allows users (can be thousands of
users, supposedly) to upload their files to their designaged
directories (max 15 files for each user). A super user (can be more
than one) want to search...

Hello,
For all my scripts needs I trust Hotscripts.com <http://www.hotscripts.com>.
Could be their ad :). However that website is not syndicated and it's hard
to track new scripts, tutorials... There's a subscription feature but it's a
very basic one. You can't really track anything with it.
So I wonder if you anyone knows syndicated...

Hi,
This is maybe not a pure ASP question, but has some relation:

Which directories and files are visible and readable for a (hacking) user at a
Website:
a) directories in the default website (obviously: YES)
b) .asp-files in the default Website
c) .asp-files in any diretory outside the default...

put this).
I was just thinking about something and wondered if any of you has
some ideas about this.
I'm using the NetAdvantage component suite from Infragistics for my

Does anyone know if how i can require authentication for all
directories on my website except for the root directory, without
having to put a web.config file in each one?
(The documentation talks about giving different types of users access,
but i don't see anything about different directories having separate
security settings. I have a...

I have a full blown VS.NET 2003 solution with a handful of library
assemblies, two web projects, and a few web service projects. The
entire solution is in VSS. Recently our build server went haywire and
the best solution was to blow away everything on the build server
related to this solution (both filebase and virtual directories hanging...

I would like to share code between several web sites that exist as virtual
directories under a single site. It appears that I have to create an
app_code directory under each virtual root in order to share classes accross
the code in the different virtual directories.
This seems to defeat the purpose of shared code.
Is there any way to...

In vs.net 2005 you can build the entire website, entire solution or a single
page. The project I am working on has more than 1000 pages spread over 50-60
directories. We work on one or two of the directories most of the time.
When an external dependency is changed (say a function in business layer),
we have to compile the entire web project,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it. ...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in...
