I want to insert an horizontal rule into my HTML page, but
without using <HR> or <HR size=1>, as I consider it oldfashioned.
Does anybody know a good way?

states that the align, noshade, size and width attributes are deprecated.
it gives an example using the deprecated attributes, but no indication as to
how to avoid the deprecated attributes.
