I have defined a class for my images called .image that specifies the
default border color, width and style. I'd like to be able to have the
pseudo elements link, visited and active have one color and style, while
the hover class has a different color and style. I have the entries:
a:link .image {
border-color: #151515;
border-style: solid;
border-width: 2px;
}

Hi,
I'm trying to create a grayscale image class that reads and writes
grayscale Targa format. This works well with smaller images, but
corrupts larger images and creates a "Segmentation fault (core dumped)"
error. I am at a loss as to why this works only part of the time.
I hope it's proper etiquette to post the code below (3 files).
Can someone please show me what's wrong with the following code? I

Hi
I have another question about Captcha.... how should I apply a Captcha
Image on a Web Form correctlly?
Say I have an ASP.NET WebSite.. where should I make the code validity
check?. Should I do it on the Page_Load event or on each click or Event
where I wish to validate that particular?
Thanks!

Give me some help, pls!!
I am doing an image processing project. I decide to import some prepared binary images (in binary BMP format) into the resources sections of a MFC C++ project. The function I want is actually to get the binary pixel to the (array??) and then setpixel (draw) after processing an image. (i.e. two images, one original one processed, are shown on the window at the same time) I found some classes that may be helpful to me...

Hi,
I'd like to be able to use a nested class (C1) from another sibling nested class (C3). This looks very similar to the nested scopes of functions except that it does not work.
class A(object):
pass
class B(object):
class C1(object):

This is a language limitation.
This is because nested scope is implemented for python function only since 2.3
allow late binding of free variables. the scope in class statment is not a
closure, so there is only two possible scope in it : local and global.
When "class C2(C1):" statment is interpreted, it is in the scope of class B
for which a name C1 exists, but it...

Hi guys.
I'd like to use an image as my border on just the right side of a div, to create an arrow shape on a 'continue' link. I've created the image to use and tried to code it myself, but failed miserably on both Safari and Firefox. Here's my current code:
#continue {
background-color:#ebebeb;
margin:20px 0px 20px 0px;
height:45px;
border-image-right:url("images/continue-arrow.gif") 100% round;
width:80%;
float:right

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

The next Access Europe User Group meeting will be on Wednesday 1 May 2024 starting at 18:00 UK time (6PM UTC+1) and finishing by 19:30 (7.30PM).
In this session, we are pleased to welcome a new presenter, Adolph Dupré who will be discussing some powerful techniques for using class modules.
He will explain when you may want to use classes instead of User Defined Types (UDT). For example, to manage the data in unbound forms.
Adolph will...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
