Bitmap Resource - ignore previous

Give me some help, pls!!

I am doing an image processing project. I decide to import some prepared binary images (in binary BMP format) into the resources sections of a MFC C++ project. The function I want is actually to get the binary pixel to the (array??) and then setpixel (draw) after processing an image. (i.e. two images, one original one processed, are shown on the window at the same time) I found some classes that may be helpful to me in this situation. They are:
1/ Bitmap class
2/ CBitmap class
3/ CImage class
Which one should I choose to use for this situation?? May I have some solid example use for the class??

Other than getpixel and setpixel, I may also want the size of the input image.

Sorry! I wrongly press the submit button. Please ignore the previous post.

I imported a bitmap file to the resource, then pull a picture control to the dialog box. I then change the type and image in the properties part. of the picture control. After clicking a button to perform an image processing, an output image was supposed to be shown in the right picture control. How can I show the output image in the right side?

Hi Gurus! Here is a problem with wxPython. I would like to load bitmaps and create a mask for them at once. Here is my idea: the mask colour for the bitmap should be the colour of the pixel in the top left corner. (The same way Delphi does with TImageList.) E.g. the bitmap should be transparent everywhere with the same colour. I read the documentation, and I could not find an easy way to do this. Here is what I have tried:

Hi, I am writing a a C# application that needs to display a bitmap to the user and allow the user to manipulate the bitmap. e.g, add edit bitmap, like in an application such as photoshop or Corel Draw etc. I'd like to know how i can achieve this in a C# application. I assume i would have to embed a third party application in my C# application to allow the user to edit the bitmap.

At the risk of being publically humiliated, might I ask the following simple question. I have a solution with one project. This project, WindowsApplication1, has one "form" and one "bitmap" (the bitmap created by right clicking on the project, selecting add new item, then add bitmap file). The project explorer says my bitmap is called "Bitmap1.bmp". If I have a function in my project declared as

I am using a ImageList with a bitmap that contains all the images. I am currently saving the bitmap in a PictureBox, and load into the ImageList when the form loads. How can I save the bitmap into a Resource and load it from there later? Thanks. Alejandro Lapeyre

I have a bitmap of 100X100. On the load, the bitmap is created by a function (createimage()). On my OnPaint, I draw the image back to the screen (e.Graphics.DrawImage( bitmap, destrect)). Now, I want to add a button. When user click on it, I want the bitmap shift to the left by 10% and fill the new area with new information requested. Here is the code I have in the button handler: if (bitmap == null) return; Graphics graphics =...

I have a minor problem locating an image file to load as a Bitmap. A resource file "NudeSusan.jpeg" (which I think is actually a bmp file, originally taken from a jpeg of model Susan Spears) is loaded onto the "Resources" tree of the Visual Studio Solutions Explorer, and correctly works. However, another file, "MyImageFile.png" (which is also a bmp file, sorry for the confusion, but originally was a png file), does not work. How can...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
