Hi!
I'm using Pure ASP File Upload (http://www.asp101.com/articles/jacob/scriptupload.asp) to upload a file from a client to a server. I am testing both on a local IIS and a remote server. The welcome page has a browse button (for locating your local file), a textfield where the path is displayed, and a upload button. When clicking upload a VB ASP script is run, and the outcome is displayed on a new page.
1. On my local machine I got the...

I created a for with file inputs (<input type=file.../>) I named them file1,
file2, file3 etc. How do I access them in the code behind without actually
calling each one by name (there are 21 of them). This is what I have so far.
Strangely I get a error some of the time, I have not isolated it because I
can't get it to go to debug.
The code below kind of works about every 3rd one gives me an error and I
can't get it to go to debug! I get...

Hi all,
I want to put a button on a page, and when the user clicks it, the standard
Windows "Open File" dialogue box opens, and the user can browse/select a
file on their PC. Having selected a file, the user clicks Open, and I then
want to capture the file path and name in a string variable. Finally, I
want to upload the file to the server.
BUT: I don't want to use an <input type="file"> control.

Hi, does anyone know why using ".click()" on a <INPUT type="file"> control
should be a problem?
- the html file selction control is on a very plain webform page with just
the <input type="file"> control and a submit button.
- the ".click()" method is simply used to automatically open the file
selction dialog box so the user doesn't have to click "Browse". (likewise
the form is automatically submitted when the user selects a file).

How do I detect that a particular form element is a file upload or if
the file upload has worked?
In the Python cgi module documentation I found suggested code...
form = cgi.FieldStorage()
fileitem = form
if fileitem.file:
# It's an uploaded file; count lines

(I posted this previously in the wrong NG.)
I get this error when trying to run a file upload function on my client's
server.
It works fine on my local server.
I can also create a directory via my code, but not upload a file.
I'm using asp.net 1.1 and forms authentication.

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies.
