Hi Folks,
I'm a brand new Python programmer, so please point me in the right
direction if this is not the best forum for this question....
I would like to open an existing MS Excel spreadsheet and extract
information from specific worksheets and cells.
I'm not really sure how to get started with this process.

I am sending Excel reports to web clients. Excel opens in internet explorer
displaying multiple sheets. It is pretty simple to do and works well. To do
it, a client clicks a link to an ASPX page that first generates Excel.htm
files (query string contains parameters for the specific reports) then uses
Response.Write() to stream and Excel workbook file back to the client. The
Workbook file, internally contains links to the Excel.htm files...

Hi -
I'm able to open excel workbooks and word documents, but I can't seem to
copy excel charts, named ranges, etc. to a word document. Anyone know of
good reference material in this area? What little documentation I've been
able to find focuses on using only one office app at a time.

1. Activate Excel
2. Add a Workbook
3. Add a Worksheet
4. Populate the new Worksheet
5. Repeat steps 3,4 while there is data.

Someone please help before i start to cry.
I'm trying to export from Access to Excel, then create a new excel sheet with
a pivot table to display the data held in columns A:P. I get the error
message "Run Time error 91: Object variable or with block variable not set"
on the "CREATE PIVOT" line below and can't find a way round.
Please someone. Help!
