How to put logo image on top of scaled gradient image?

Hi,

The following gradient method involves scaling a gradient image. How
would one put a logo on top of such a scaled gradient image without
also scaling the logo image?

You could make the logo image an img element and position it. But

Hello I was running the Image Browser example (from the JAI book by Lawrence Rodrigues) with a very large image, specifically one of the size 12,000 x 6,000 pixels, and the image does not render inside the view port when using the original size display mode, the image appears to be loaded in memory, and the application appears to be interacting. When I use scaled or to-fit display mode everything shows inside the view port. Do you know...

Is there any CSS way to make a <hr /> noshadow so I don't get the default 3D look in Netscape? I tried to use some border-bottom to make the line, but my "line" should be under text that is hanging to the right of a image with "float: left" and if I use border, the line is extended under the image. Also, I thing the <hr /> divider fits the meaning of the text quite well. But if somebody has better idea than using <hr /> thats also...

Hi, I have an inherited DataGrid, that does lots of extra stuff. For exemple drawing a backgroundimage in every cell. The problem is that it's taking too much time (using gdi+), so I want to do it using DirectX. I downloaded already the DSK etc, but I can't find how I need to draw an image on a given position. I don't need stuff to write advanced 3D-games, just painting that image. Can anybody help me with this? I'm already looking for...

Hi... Does anybody have a clue how to solve this problem? the task is to change the following method in that manner that it draws the (calculated) image form left to right instead of from top to bottom. The image is actually a waterfall model of sound data. I tried desperatly, but I don't see how to swap the x and y coordinates.

In my Winforms app I'm trying to get an image's background to appear transparent on a form that has a gradient background. So I added a PictureBox and then attempted to add a custom paint command for the PictureBox. But it's not working. Here's the code I've written: public void InitializeLinearGradients() { this.Paint += new PaintEventHandler(PaintClient); this.SizeChanged += new EventHandler(SizeClient); pictureLogo.Paint += new...

Hi all, I posted an earlier question to the microsoft.public.inetserver.asp.general newsgroup asking how to set the background of a client-side table cell to a gradient, and I received this answer: How do I stretch the static image? The Style property builder for a table cell lets me specify the background image location, tiling, scrolling, and position. But I can't find any obvious way to tell it to stretch the image

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...
