avoiding a one row table

I'm trying to learn how to use CSS rather than burdening my code with
lots of tables.

I've got content that I would normally place in a one row, 3 column
table. How to I do this using css instead? The following doesn't work
nor does moving the various inner div's around

<div width="100%">
<div style="float:ri ght">1111</div>
<div style="float:ri ght">2222</div>
<div style="float:ri ght">3333</div>
</div>

I've also tried the following.
<div width="100">
<div>1111</div>
<div style="float:ri ght">
<div>2222</div>
<div style="float:ri ght">3333</div>
</div>
</div>

Neither of these approaches gives me the three div's in a row. Any
hints would be appreciated!!

Using small stored procs or sp_executesql dramatically reduces the number of recompiles and increases the reuse of execution plans. This is evident from both the usecount in syscacheobjects, perfmon, and profiler. However I'm at a loss to determine what causes a compilation. Under rare circumstances the usecount for Compiled Plan does not increase as statements are run. Seems to correspond to when there is no execution plan. It would...

Here is my problem. I want to make a webapp that will basically take the work out of finding what tool works for what situation. There are 5 factors that go into tool selection. 1)Material Group, 2)Insert Radius, 3)Insert Type and Size, and 2 others that I can't remember off-hand. There are probably about 1000 different scenarios that I have to code for..(there are several blank table cells and it's not setup as you might imagine,...

This email is semi-off topic; but documents a problem and the server-side solution when using MS Access as a client to many (all?) database servers. I decided to post the problem/solution because the MS Access error message is very misleading. For those of you creating applications using PostgreSQL with MS Access clients: PostgreSQL will allow bit fields to hold null values. I consider this to be valuable because a null boolean field...

I have some logic that currently processes values retrieved by looping through a HashTable/ListDictionary structure (a hash table that contains ListDictionary objects as its values). Logically it's just a bunch of rows and columns - just like in a DataTable or row set returned by a DataReader. You can visualize this as 3 columns and N rows. I need for the same logic to be able to process identical data - but by processing DataRows of an...

Hi all. I currently have 2 text files which contain lists of file names. These text files are updated by my code. What I want to do is be able to merge these text files discarding the duplicates. And to make it harder (or not???!!) my criteria for defining the duplicate is the left 15 (or so) characters of the file path.

Hello. I have a query like: SELECT big_table.* FROM little_table, big_table WHERE little_table.x = 10 AND little_table.y IN (big_table.y1, big_table.y2); I have indexes on both big_table.y1 and big_table.y2 and on little_table.x and little_table.y. The result is a sequential scan of big_table. In order to prevent this, I've rewritten the query as:

I had to do a lot of searching to get this one to work and in doing so I saw a lot of different sites where people were looking for this answer so I thought I would put it up. If you are trying to put data in to a table where you don't want any duplicate data a primary key, unique constraint and all that prevention is the best way to go. However when you try to insert data and it conflicts with an entry you get an error then you have to...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
