Google Custom Search Engine, what type of ID?

a
Hallo

I created a CSE with google

to identify it, I got this ID:
003179593044938 630469:zbge1rqu nmm

but I saw on many sites that there is also this ID:
pub-475479029067576 6

I checked a lot of IDs out
and found that there exist only two type of IDs
( one with ' : ' and the other with 'pub' )

What is the difference between them?
How to get the second one?

The second one seems to me to be better
because it displays a smaller logo on the results page
and it also doesn't display the classic generic few Google links at the
bottom of the page
so we can save space.

Hello guys, I've been building a search facility for an intranet site I'm part of developing and we've been building a search engine using Index Server. It mostly works, however there have been a few niggling problems and fixing it seems to be a case of patching errors as we find them so I'm thinking that it might be worth starting the logic from scratch and rebuilding this again. Basically we have a simple search, which is simply a...

This aticle presents factual evidence that Google's PageRank, inbound links and keywords are irrelevent to your placement in the search results. It presents several case studies that show conclusively that the algorithm used by Google's search engine is flawed with serious "bugs" that deny many websites the high ranking that they should otherwise be granted while granting it to those who shouldn't have it. The article is entitled...

Hi, I created a Google Custom Search Engine for searching on: "Software / Compilers / Optimization" This is basically a regular full Google search giving preference to certain sites. Of course I added technical sites such as IEEE, ACM, the universities, Rice, Stanford, Intel, Microsoft, HP, this site and others. The search results are indeed much more specific than the

Hello Everyone! Before we start I'm a javascipt newbie as well as trying to get javascipt to work with the C# code behind page in ASP.NET. C# alone I can do fairly well with however. I'll just use google as an example here since it is well known. Here is a script (below) for allowing people to place a google search box on their page. I plan to show a much larger duplication of it when there is a mouse over event (or any acceptable...

Hello, I have build a website with approximately 30 html-pages. When I search this website in Google, I see the index.html or home.html on this website, but also other html-pages on this website. When I click in Google on one of these pages (not index.html or home.html), I am only linked to that one html-page and not to the website itself. Does anyone know how to fix this. Is there for example a metatag? Thanks

Hi.. Actually I have Glossary pages in my website for all A to Z terms I have created one google custom search bar. The problem is , The google search engine always points the A page(in which all the terms start from A are included) rather than just pointing to the term itself.. e.g -- I want to search for absorption than the search bar will show the pages with all the A terms -- I have created directory A to Z to store term's PHP...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
