Hi, I have a number of ASP pages where some JPGs and GIFs are displaying in the browser and some are not. I have included an excerpt from the HTML below. In this example, the gif file at the bottom of the example is displaying (I have others that don't), while the jpg file at the top isn't. Both files are in the same folder (visible bith physical in WE and virtual in CM) as the asp file itself. WHen not displaying, it displays instead...

The HTML specifications define the entities ‍, ‌, ‎, ‏ as denoting zero-width joiner, zero-width non-joiner, left to right mark, and right to left mark. Is there any evidence of any browser support to the characters so denoted, in the sense defined in the Unicode standard, chapter 15? ( ‍, ‌, ‎, ‏ ) For example, does f‍i ever produce an fi ligature? In my tests, the best I get is that the characters...

I've been trying to find out how to increase the font size in the text entry fields in Invision Power Board 1.3 for a while. The part where you enter your post and do the quick reply and all that has a really small font by comparision to the display font in the forum, and I wanted to at least have the same size if possible. After some hours of working the issue, I tested about every relevant entry in the Style Sheet. I found one line...

I have the item below at the top of my style sheet. And it seems that the font-szie is ignored. I know that my linked style sheet is being read, and used because if I remove the font-family line, the font changes. But it appears that no matter what I do with the font-size, it is ignored, and I cannot figure out why! Any clues? At the very bottom is the entire style sheet, just incase anyone comes accross something that they feel is...

I'm guessing the problem I'm having has something to do with Master Pages or DetailsView because the exact same code works fine on a page without a Master Page and DetailsView controls. The problem is, when the javascript fires on the txtDateRequiredOut TextBox in IE, I get "Error on Page" in the status bar and the error says: "Object Expected". Viewing the source of the page while running shows a link created properly for the linked...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
