problem with CSS roll overs

I can't figure out what's happening here or how to fix this. On this
page http://s195679515.onlinehome.us/KSER/index.html there is a top
nav bar, and on IE (not FF), the first time you put the mouse over a
button/word, the grey image that is supposed to fill in behind it,
fills in all except a couple of pixels on the bottom. Then if you move
the mouse to different button, it's fine, filling it all in. At that
point even if you move back again to the first one, it fills in all
the way. Is there a fix for this?

You don't say whether the problem is with IE6 or IE7, but no matter. The
layout is a mess in IE6, so a little mouseover quirk is the least of
your troubles. The design also does not adapt well to enlarged text
sizes, the left column in particular. Zoom text up in Firefox if you
don't know what this means.
Is there a fix for this?

It's happening in IE7. If there are other problems, I will get to
those. I am specifially (and only) looking for the answer to this
issue right now. That's why I posted this. To find out what is going
on that would cause a mouseover to be different on the first time than
the second. If anyone has any information that relates to that issue,
please let me know.

I am still designing the tables, fields, relationships, etc...; and ran across something I don't remember how I have handled in the past. Ea/Bx/Rl/Dz etc... for the unit of measure. Item XYZ is billed out as a qty 1 each. They are purchased as Rolls of 100. Obviously my Each Qty is ok when taking out of inventory as I can have a field for that, but it seems I need to have a field (or two) to cover purchase quantity Unit of Measure...

I have an Access 2000 form which has been running OK for a long time. Lately, it is playing up and doing things like causing Access to close suddenly when the form is opened or when saving the form in design view after a change. Today, I got the following message from the form when using a combo box. "The expression After Update you entered as the event property setting produced the following error: A problem occurred while Microsoft...

Hi, Im trying to learn CSS and putting a website in effect. Just getting used to DIV's and SPAN's and using the proper formatting of H1 H2 H3 etc to format HTML documents and using different stylesheets to control formatting. So far it's going pretty well, and Im just ripping up everything I knew about tables and starting with DIV's. Though I seem to be having a hell of a time working with padding and margins, then trying to realise...

I have a small image on my web page that, when clicked, does some javascript stuff which changes the page. To highlight that this has happened, I want to replace the image with another. Each is a 16x16 pixel image. The images are pre-loaded: var image_g = new Image (16, 16); var image_r = new Image (16, 16); image_g.src = 'pics/arrow-g.jpg';

Hello - new to the board and wondering if anyone can help with this. I have a site developed with the CMS ModX. It has a CSS UL list menu on the left hand side that needs to have roll-overs and a way to show location. The solid background colour, is to indicate which page the visitor is on, works fine with Firefox - but doesn't work with IE 6 and for the life of me I can't figure out where in the CSS I've gone wrong. At the moment I'm...

I am brand new to Python (this is my second day), and the only experience I have with programming was with VBA. Anyway, I'm posting this to see if anyone would be kind enough to help me with this (I suspect, very easy to solve) query. The following code is in a file which I am running through the interpreter with the execfile command, yet it yeilds no results. I appreciate I am obviously doing something really stupid here, but I can't...

Hey everyone, I was making a program for a class, and I ran into a problem that is driving me crazy. I first suspected Vista, and since I am not home I cannot verify if it just my Vista computer, anyway, here is the problem. I know this is a lame program, but I lacked the creativity to come up with a program including all the required items in three days. I ended up getting 351/585(60%) on this because, I didn't include 2 arrays,...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
