html email displays as code

This is a simplified example of an html email, including the header.
It seems to render fine in most situations but for some people it is
just code. (it seems to be happening with bellsouth addresses) Is
there anything in this header that is not quite right that might be
the cause ?

That would certainly be the case if you sent it to me -- my email client
doesn't have a browser. There are only two ways to show me a web page:
1. Send me a URL, and tell me why I'd want to look at it.
2. Send me HTML, and convince me that it's worth my while to go to the
effort of saving it to a file, fixing the permissions, and calling
it up locally in a browser.

Nothing that you ever do will get a web page displayed in all email
clients, because not all email clients are capable of doing so.

(Good practice, given the nature of html e-mail spams, phishes, etc.)
