Hi all,
I have been searching so hard for the answer to this, hopefully some of you all can help.
I have created an HTML file with various forms - also included CSS and some javascript for checkboxes and autofill of Identical forms, as well as pulldown menus. When I fill out a form and (on the IE browser pull down menu) select: File --> Send --> Page by Email, the page goes into MS outlook (as it should) - However, all of the data is then erased!! AUGHH!!!
Secondly, when the page starts a spell check it freezes (i'm guessing because of the JavaScript code, which I placed in the <head> tag of the Html.
#1 - How can I get the IE "send page by email" function to work and keep all of the data so that it can be emailed to several people?
#2 - How can I effectively re-structure the JavaScript so that it will not make the MS Outlook freeeze? (would I now place the JavaScript in an external .js file in order to take it out of the html file completly?)
PS - I don't want to use any server-side scripts (I am only using the html for convenience - because it fills out forms, provides checkboxes and is a user-friendly way of passing along information) Also, I would like it to be as simple as filling out the html (**by the way, the html is not online - it will be accessed from our public drive) - after completing, I would like to just send page by email with all the data included as filled out.
Thanks in advance

I have a lot of forms on our web site that require the user to fill out
information and submit it back to us. currently the information comes back as
name value pair. The our employee's then has to go thru all this code and
fill in a template with the data and print the info out. It would be so much
easier if we could have a button that would access the file/send/page by
email button on IE. Using asp.net 2 the my.computer.keyboard.sendkey...

Hello. Trying to use the ASP.net user functionality but it keeps failing on me. I have created a login and registration page for my site. When you fill in the registration form it should send a confirmation email with a link to activate the account. Nothing hi-tech here. However, it fails to send the email and provides the following error message:
Transaction failed. The server response was: sorry, the sender name and auth login doesn't...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...
