I've got a link defined in my html as href="abc123.html" in a <div
id="abc123"> block. The link text displays just fine but the link
won't show as an available link. If I change the <div id from abc123
to body, then everything works perfectly except that the css block
displays in the body location and not the abc123 location on the
webpage.

Hi There!
For some reasons, some images of my ASP.NET website are cannot be displayed
in the browser (even tho they exists on the server). They are just normal
JPG and PNG images and the website has been working fine before. I tried
re-upload the original files to the remote server but still no solution.
Any ideas?

I upgraded an ASP.NET 1.1 website to ASP.NET 2.0. The site runs correctly on
my local machine. I published the website to the Web Server into a virtual
directory that I created. When I browse to the site, I am receive error 404,
"Page Not Found" even though Default.aspx file is there and designated as
default start page.
When I copy iisstart.htm to the root of the virtual directory the pagge
displays correctly.

using ASP.NET, and right now its a very simple page with only labels on it.
I have a third party that hosts the site, and i'm FTP'ing the files to the
server, but the site is not working properly. When i build it locally, it
displays fine in the browser, but not after i upload it to the server. I'm

I haven't really done any css in quite a while, and am banging my head
against the wall trying get the rudimentary layout together of a church
website home page to display correctly - I don't want to continue work
until I understand what I'm doing wrong.

I have a systems analyst who came to me with a problem with retrieving
a PDF file from a clients website. I've reduced the explaination to the
bare facts thus if you need more information just let me know.
The Setup:
- Initial request of the PDF file produces "Access Denied by security
policy"
- Using same browser instance minutes later, a refresh displays the PDF

Assume that there's a website named www.abc.com. There are 2 ASPX
files & one MS-Access database file in this site. The 1st ASPX file is
named "SearchForm.aspx" & the 2nd ASPX file is named
"SearchResult.aspx". "SearchForm.aspx" houses a Form with a select

Basically, the site views properly in IE, however, in Firefox the <div
id="containerb">, plus lots of other <div> tags does not align in the
center and this thrown off the the right side, top or merged together
