Hi All,
I have a simple style sheet example below and I'm seeing different
results in IE 6 vs. Firefox 1.0.3. I'm not sure which browser is
rendering it correctly but I'm tending to think it's IE. In the code
below you will see two styled <p> elements within the <body> element.
There are two aspects of the rendering I wanted to ask about.
First, notice that Firefox simply ignores the "width:500px" rule

The following code will produce similar results in IE6 and firefox
1.0.4
however the left margin in FF is 4 pixels and in IE it is 5.
Can anyone see why this is happening? I can't seem to figure it out!
TIA
Jeff

<DIV ID=MyLayer
STYLE = "position: absolute;top:68px; left:563px;
width:640px;height:480px;">
<IMG src="ReportImageBox_12.54.52.png" width=640 height=480></IMG>

I'm trying to put a border around a link when the mouse rolls over it.
I've made an example below and left out the hover to keep it simple. In
IE the example below draws a box arround the image OK, in Firefox the
box drawn is one line of text in height. If I add any lines of text
inside the A tag it borders each line of text individually.
The solutions I've tried are:
putting a Div tag inside the A and using A:hover .myDiv{boder.....}...

Has anyone run into the problem of firefox 'border-collapse: collapse'
rendering a table 1-pixel too far to the left? In IE and Opera it will
render fine...Does anyone know if this is a bug? This property only
holds true in standards compliance mode (quirks mode firefox renders it
fine). For example, if you had the following code:
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN"...

Hello, yes..it must be hard to try and help someone else coding but
today is a full week of sadness and stress for IE CSS rendering and I
need your help.
Here you have a link that looks nice with Opera and Firefox but it
shows problems with IE6 (I've no idea with IE7):
http://www.fitcisl.it/fit/index.asp
Here I copy the css code with the hope that someone knows a hack so to
make it compatible with all the browsers.
Thank you!

So, on my information page there is a gridview in the content section of the
page. The masterpage contains searching capabilities for the gridview. The
masterpage has controls contained in a panel control,...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
