Controlling font size in Firefox and Opera?

Hello,

I have a footer at the end of each article in my blog at
http://www.usernomics.com/news/user-...sign-news.html .

The footer looks perfect in IE but has smaller text in Firefox and Opera.
For some reason, the CSS does not seem to be controlling the font size. The
CSS and HTML are below.

Does anyone know how I can get the CSS to control the Firefox and Opera
appearance?

Thanks,

Bob

Maybe. Maybe not. What happens when JavaScript is disabled/unavailable?

Server-side template and inclusion mechanisms are more reliable. See
http://www.htmlhelp.com/faq/html/des...l#include-file

Are you running into the minimum font size those browsers are configured to
use? The page tries to specify a font size smaller than the minumum font
size I've configured for my copy of Opera.

I am using the script that Feedburner offers. I'm not sure if anything else
will work for them. But I do see your point.

Yes, my setup for Opera and Firefox had minimum font sizes that were set at
6pt. When I changed them to 12pt it all worked.

Thanks a lot,

Bob

What I'd like to do is to be able to set the font of a textarea element to the same font that another element is using (say, for example, an <INPUT type=text ...> element, but if that's a no go, then a generic element's font will do OK, too. What's the correct way to do this, please (so that it will also work for IE 6)? The motivation for this is that I have some text on the screen and I want to insert a textarea element between the...

Did I miss something? Perhaps coincident with the advent of Microsoft's SP2, my font sizes seen in MSIE have shrunk to near unreadability. Firefox and Opera are ok but both have minimal font size settings. MSIE does not. I didn't notice this problem when I originated the pages.

My site is very small, and plain - it will mostly be text (for now). I have used a good mix of css in the design. With usability in mind I would like to add some specific functionality (with the vision impaired in mind). I would like to allow the user/reader of the web site the ability to select another font size, say from a drop downbox. This would increase the size of any text between paragraph tags, or in table data tags. This...

Hi guys What's the best way to specify font size using CSS? I try to avoid absolute units like pt and px because then users can't resize the fonts in IE, but % and em are a complete pain to use IMO. I read somewhere (a W3C tip I think) that the best way is to specify a "base" size and then have all your fonts relative that, but I'm not sure how that works. TIA

Look at this page http://xahlee.org/emacs/wrap-url.html Look at it in Firebox, look at it in Safari, in Opera, and look at it in Microsoft Internet Explorer. The only fucked up case, is Firefox. Namely, that it does not respect the font used when dealing with «width:80ex». The way to test this visually, is by this code: <pre style="border:thin black solid;

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
