Background Image won't display in Firefox

Well, I did a search and found a few references with a similar subject but no answers for me. At http://www.flyingscool.com/FC_eLearning.htm I have a table row with a background image using the following code. It displays fine in IE, but won't show up in Firefox.

I have tried putting the image in the root directory of the web site as well with no change. Any ideas?

Your page has 299 html errors plus the lack of a doctype. It will be difficult to make this page work in a modern browser like Firefox until a lot of that is cleaned up.

In addition to taking care of the HTML errors, you might want to try using absolute paths to your images. I just had a similar problem (although they weren't working anywhere!) until I changed the paths. I'm sure it shouldn't have to be that way but it was the only way I could make it work.

There are acctually only 200 errors, but that still has to be fixed

go to http://validator.w3.org/ and validate your HTML,

then the next page will show you all your errors,
and what you have to do to fix them.

The background atr is no longer supported (I think) and you need to change to background-image. Microsoft added background as a their own html extension which is why it would work in IE. I haven't tried it, but I think it's like this:
