Given the following piece of code, I was looking for suggestions on how to beautify
the portion of the HTML where I jump out of php mode and back in again. The HTML does
not have any indenting in order to make the output more readable. However, by not
indenting the php code, the php code becomes slightly more difficult to read. Is there
a way to have both the php and HTML codes indent correctly?
Thanks.

I would appreciate some help on how to convert a database table into an html
file via FSO and whether more seasoned asp programmers recommned this route.
The main reason I am attempting to do this is becuase we are constantly
being told by so-called marketing gurus that 'html' pages are more search
engine friendly.
Other advantages include speed of download.
Will there be any problems with using this approach besides establishing...

I have some text that appears in a Database. This text includes
HTML(e.g. <br> tags).
I also have a Webpage that makes an XML call to that database. But
when the text is displayed on the page, the HTML isn't used, just
printed out as normal text.
Is there some way I can change the text in the Database, so that when
it is called in the XML call, that it displays as HTML?

What is the best way for that?
I store all Data in the original form in the Database. To prevent output
fields (especially the fields everyone can use) to do bad things like
killing the page-design or even worse attacking my site with javascript
directives i use stuff like
(WebControls.Label)Output.Text = HttpUtility.HtmlEncode(userDefinedData);
and my own functions which allow Line-Breaks and handle links.
But that way seems not to be...

In an ASCX, I have a Literal control into which I inject a
at runtime.
litInjectedContent.Text = dataClass.GetHTMLSnippetFromDB(someID);
This works great as long as the contains just client-side
HTML, CSS, etc.
What I want to do is somehow insert a *server control* into the , then set the server control's properties at runtime.

I am new to PHP but not so new to Postgres. If someone can either
direct me to some howto or even provide me with an example, I would be
grateful.
I would like to know if it is possible to create an HTML form text box
that can draw information out of the database and display it in the
HTML form text box. I have purchased a few books on the integration of
Postgres and PHP but can find no such example. Maybe there is a better
way of doing...

hi,
i have an idea to make admin tool on home computer, that would generate html
files using some kind of templates and database data and put these generated
html files to public web server, witch doesn't have running asp.net, using
ftp access.
why i need so?
because:
1) my project doesn't need to receive any data from browsing customers, it
will be only company news, info about new products - so it's enough to have
static html on...

Is there any tutorials online for sending email through forms? I can
send an email as well as write to my MySQL database from home with the
following code but not at work. I think there might be something I'm
missing header-wise that keeps me from making this work on my work
system. I'm using Apache 1.3, PHP 4.1 (best the IT guys could do
though I'm using 5.x at home), and MySQL as the database. Thanks VERY
much for any help or...

Using a flat file containing table names, fields, values whats the
best way of creating html pages?
I want control over the html pages ie
1. layout
2. what data to show
3. what controls to show - text boxes, input boxes, buttons,
hyperlinks ie the usual.
The data is not obtained directly from a database.

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
