Have you submitted it for indexing? How long ago? It can take several weeks, months even to appear in search engines.
Dear Moderator,
Thanks for your immediate reply.
It is indexed very recently, a week ago.. As you replied.. I may see it after a month. Is there any way to make it fast..
thanks once again.. and with great regards

Only through paying money to have your site index faster. But I am not sure how reliable that is, I normally just rely on it getting indexed in the end.
How do you sumbit something for indexing?

Well for the sites I run the host has always provided a method to submit the site, normally through the control panel.
Most Search engines provide a method to submit a site, for instance Googles is at http://www.google.com/addurl/
Hello Bhanu,
Getting your website to show in Google isn't that easy. Steps to take:
- Make sure to have the Meta descriptions in your pages right. Google crawlers only pay attention to the meta description, not to the keywords.
- You already signed up your url for indexing, right on!
- Google's search result is also based on the number of links from other sites to yours, make sure your url is linked to from other sites as much as possible
- if you're desperate on having traffic use Google adwords to pay for clicks. Setting the right keywords and your maximum budget a day will get you your traffic.
Have you checked your result on yahoo.com and msn.com? They index 'old style'.
Grtz, Sander
Another trick is to have a link to your web site in your signature. These count as inbound links. It will also get you traffic from people who read your posts.
Good luck
Steven

Hello!!
In spite of my efforts done a week back, as you suggested, I am not finding my web page through search.. Let me wait for some time, till the crawler reaches to my page. Thanks a lot for spending your valuable time. You have confirmed what I have done is right.
with regards
Bhanu Murthy.

In a Python script running under CGI, can I programatically redirect the
program to another page. Assume that I have a static HTML page that I want
displayed (e.g. index.htm). Other than 'print ...' is there any way to
redirect to this URL (for example, like Response.Redirect() in ASP)?
Many thanks.

Hi,
Anyone has the background for explaining?
I have made a search on my name and I have got a link to another
search engine.
The link's title was the search phrase for the other search engine (a
wicked phrase). Some but not all of the words of that phrase exist in
my website.
I reported it and they removed the link but did not give...

I have a hobby website at:

One address has a Google page rank of three.
The other address has a Google page rank of four.
(at least according to the Firefox page rank plugin).

For example, if authors of content subconsciously mention the keywords

Hello,
I have build a website with approximately 30 html-pages.
When I search this website in Google, I see the index.html or home.html on
this website, but also other html-pages on this website.
When I click in Google on one of these pages (not index.html or home.html),
I am only linked to that one html-page and not to the website itself....

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".

Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows.
