automatically put a default filename in <input type=file...> value

Hi,
I am hoping somebody can help me.
Normally to use the file upload feature in an html page, users must
either select or type in a file to upload then click on button or link
to initiate the upload. I was wondering if it were possible to put a
default file name in?

Thanks

No, it's not. How would you know what the user has called the file, or
even where it is on their system?

Most browsers ignore the value attribute for upload controls. That's a wise
decision, because otherwise a website could submit the form using JS, thus
uploading any file without the users knowledge.

Using PHP, I'm creating an <input> tag. How do you delimit the text string for the value parm of an <input> tag, when the string contains the delimit char? Example: <input...value="This text has a " in it"...> I tried preceeding the " with a the escape char \, but the browser apparently still used the embedded " as termination of the value string. One other thing...is the delimiter limited to just " and ' ?

I thought I would update an old page on which I had used a <INPUT TYPE=image ...> with a <BUTTON><IMG SRC=...></BUTTON> The problem is that <BUTTON> always provides a shadow/emboss effect. Can I get rid of that? If the old <INPUT> button has been deprecated in favor of <BUTTON>, have all it's button functions been duplicated? Thanks for any help,

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
