OK. Now I'm all googled out and still puzzled !
I admit I am very new to javascript, but think that it is the only solution

I have a web page with a table ( 2 columns, 1 row )
The left cell width is set at 150px
The right cell at 100%

I understand that as of IE5.5 iframes respect the z-index style
property. However I have noticed some odd behaviour when the iframe's
src is set to an MHT web archive instead of an HTML file.
For example: I have a DIV containing an IFRAME and an IMG, whose
z-index is 1. I have a second, identical DIV except this one's z-index
is set to 0. I would expect the first DIV (including the IFRAME and
IMG) two be rendered above the second DIV....

I have an asp.net page and i'm using TreeView control as links
The links are on the left side of the page inside a iframe! I used iframe
b-cos the links are too long and they shift the page to the right.
Is there a way that if a user clicks a link on the Treeview it can target to
the table of the main window on the right (I DOUBT IF ITS POSSIBLE)

Hello!,
I have this well, little IE issue.
I'm showing hiding div's (containing IFRAMES), however, for some reason in IE one of the iframe contents allow me to click them (the last one allows me to browse the contents) the others I can't do anything with :(, it's like there is still a layer present (invisible)
It works fine in FF
If someone knows the answer, THANKS!

Hi,
Does anyone know a cross-browser way of making an iframe just as big
as the HTML content of its source, but no bigger, either width or
height wise. Using 100% attributes for iframe width and height seem
to make the iframe as big as its parent container. I would also
prefer a solution where there is no scrolling.

I have an Iframe in one of the pages i am developing... the iframe is suppose to scroll up and down and the links target the iframe. the problem is that the iframe scrolls side to side on internet explorer but not on firefox. I dont want it to scroll sideways. in index.htm the iframe is at the bottom of the code.

I am using a I frame in a page and trying to set the height to height=100%
and it is not working. If I use height=600px it works. I find some stuff
about the DOCTYPE on the internet but changing the doctype does not work.
Maybe I am using the incorrect doctype.
This line works:
