See the below url http://dilenbonazzi.glimworm.com/_site1125/splash.html
after loading you'll see a white space on the right side of the browser
window
click on refresh and you will see that the table will go 100%, no white
spcae anymore.
When you click skip intro the next page is OK. and uses a similar
setup.
Any idea why this is? 2 2068 ne****@dds.nl wrote: See the below url

That effect may be browser-specific, because I don't see any such thing
myself (Mozilla 1.6, Windows XP). (My browser also doesn't have a
"refresh" button, as it's always been called "reload" in Mozilla and
Netscape before that).
When you click skip intro the next page is OK. and uses a similar setup.
Which brings up the issue that your "skip intro" link is embedded in
your flash animation, which means that anybody who doesn't have the
proper plugin, or has disabled it, has no way of skipping the splash
page and getting into the main body of your site, and search engine
indexers similarly will have difficulty finding the rest of your pages.
You should have a plain "keep-it-simple-stupid" text link to the main
part of your site, if you persist in insisting on a pointless splash
page in the first place (something which has gone out of style in
recent years).

That is exactly what I experienced. Flash gets blocked on all the
browsers I use and for good reasons. I don't waste a single second with
people who do not provide an HTML fallback to their flash.

Hello. This is the first time I've posted to a newsgroup, and I do
this because I'm in desperate need of help.
I'm working a user management system, and when I activate a user that
has registered to my system, the current admin user logged in gets
logged out.
I can't seem to work out how - I can't even trace back where some of
the variables are coming from (for example, the "ref" part of the
Request.QueryString method).
Could someone...

I have a table that has 3 image slices. The middle slice changes size based
on size of browser window. This works great.
My client wants the date to show over the image on the right. So what I did
was cut off the top part of the image (which is just a solid color and I can
handle by making the background-color of the cell this color). I then use a
asp line to display the date, which also works.
Here is the original table setup for...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
