I'm working on an ASP.NET 2.0 application and am having trouble with a
very simple table layout. Using ASP.NET 2.0 it defaults to XHTML 1.0
Transitional and I am trying to comply. However, I cannot seem to get
my table to render properly, so I pulled out all the server controls

I've just redesigned my website using divs - www.ukhoopsfans.com/forums
The vertical banner on the far right, I'd like for it to go the length
of the page. I've tried setting the body to 100% and the div to 100%,
but that comes up short, I guess, since I've got additional divs in the
main content area.
Any ideas or suggestions? My last resort is going to be to redo the
graphic with 1200 pixels or so of blank space, then the vertical...

I am trying to create some pages and have them take 100% of the window, but I
cannot get 100% to work. If I set the height of my div, the page displays a
scroll bar and it looks like I set the height to about 150%. I tried using
CSS, now I am trying tables. Can someone show me where I am mixing things up?

I have a page with a content-div that scrolls and has a dynamic height.
I do this with position absolute, top and bottom. I can do this if the
other parts (divs) in the page over the scrolling part has the same
height-unit. To get the top value I add all the other heights together.
E.g. 2em + 1em + 3em = 6em.
Is it possible to accomplish this with parts having different

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
