I'm not a Lotus Notes developer but thanks to this group's archives
have successfully created a function for sending Lotus Notes emails
from Access.
The follow code works great except I want to remove my name from the
'Sent By' portion of the email.
These messages are sent using my client session of Lotus Notes, using
a database called 'Tech Team' The resulting email message headers
contains
(Bold, the From name) 'Tech Team'

Hello,
I wrote this program in C# that accesses a SQL Server database that
runs a stored procedure and sents the results in an email every 30min.
I wrote this as a windows application instead of a windows service, so
the application is run every 30min through a scheduled task. When the
email is received the received time is ok, but the sent time is
incorrect. In some emails the sent date/time is the same displaying
that the email was...

Hi,
I have a small python program with e-mail capabilities that I have pieced together from code snippets found on the internet.
The program uses the smtplib module to successfully send an e-mail with an attachment.
I want to give users an indication of the percentage of the e-mail that has already been sent so as to avoid frustration when dealing with large attachments or a slow smtp server. But the smtplib module doesn't seem to...

My company produces reports for our customers in PDF format. I have a
php script that verifies login status and access rights, and sends
the pdf to the client using readfile().
This has worked fine until recently. One of our customers' reports
is 10.6MB, and the customer never receives it and I can't get it
either. I checked the Apache access_log, and it shows varying
amounts of bytes being sent, but always close to 10MB.
I tried...

Our staging server has several web sites that send emails. Most of the
sites can send email but one of them is gettting the following message when
HTML formatted email is sent. We created a test page and verifyied that the
exact same code works on another website but not this one. The interesting
thing is that the email is in fact sent and recieved by the recipient even
though the .net component is returning this error.
It doesn't...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
