the answer is yes and no. If you setup your email client to receive your emails from the server what it does it removes them from the server and puts them in your inbox, so the email(s) are already deleted from the server and the only copies are in your inbox. But if you set up your client (can be done in outlook) to leave a copy of the email on the server, it will leave a copy on the server and in your inbox; that way when you delete from your inbox there still is a copy on the server.
I think it would also depend on your mail server. I maintain a server that keeps a copy of ALL incoming and outgoing mail.
So even if you can not get it, the admin probably can!
It depends on your server settings.
contact your system admin for more details on the same.

First off, sorry for this message-in-a-bottle-like post... I haven't been
able to phrase my questions well enough to get a meaningful answer from
Google in my research. OTOH, it is standard flattery (but true) that this
group has a bunch of the nicest and most knowledgeable Usenet people
around, and I know for a fact that there are some pretty good spam-
related tools written in Python, so I thought I might get away with it
:-)

Is it safe to do what is below? deleting from a resultset while you are
processing it? I don't know how dynamic the SQL database is. I assume you
get a cursor to live dataset. Even if it is a cursor as opposed to a table,
will the cursor's integrity be ruined if the current record is deleted?
$q2=mysql_query("SELECT * FROM table1 WHERE id1=5", $link);
while ($row2=mysql_fetch_array($q2)) {
//do some stuff with resultset...

Hi
I have this database that calculates and stores the incentive amount
earned by employees of a particular department. Each record is
entered
by entering the Date, Shift (morn, eve, or night) and the 'employee
name'. There is another table which assigns an ID to the Shifts, i.e.
1,2 and 3 for morn, eve & night shifts respectively. From the mother
table, the incentive is calculated datewise for each employee as per
his shift duty. In...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
