Is there a way to write a CSS selector to point to the body tag in a
specific frame?
The frameset HTML looks like this. I only want to select the BODY tag
in the frame named "navbar" and then apply styles to that element.
<HTML>
<HEAD>
<META HTTP-EQUIV="Content-Type" CONTENT="text/html;
CHARSET=iso-8859-1">

I tried finding an answer on http://www.quirksmode.org/ without success.
I am attempting a complicated Frames structure. I have made it work in IE,
but not Netscape.
I begin with three frames, where the two lower ones are within a Frameset
within the master Frameset:
1111111111111111111

Hi. I would like to know if the following is feasible in JavaScript.
I would create a frameset where the top frame includes JavaScript. The
bottom frame would be directed to the login page of an existing content
management system. The javascript would then fill in the login name and
password of the form, and submit the form to log in. If this works then
the bottom frame would be replaced with another page requesting that a
link be...

Hello all:
I have a page with two frames named "menu" and "display".
An event handler in "menu" changes the src attribute for
"display", resulting in a different page being loaded for
each choice in a option list.
I accomplish this as follows:
// .... code
var frameTag = top.document.getElementById("display");
var optionValue =

I have a frame set (as per MS FrontPage 2000). It has a contents and a main
frame. The contents frame has a menu bar written with with javascript (in
the context of a table). In IE6.1 everything works fine as it also does in
firefox if I call the contents frame directly (i.e. outside of its
frameset). However, if I call my main page (index.html) which invokes the
frame set, the contents frame javascript menubar onmouseover function...

The topics column presents three links. When I click on the first
link, topic1a, I expect its content to presented in the subtopics

Using javascript, is there a way to trap an external page inside a frame?
I've seen scripts to break out of frames, but nothing to keep a page trapped
in a frame.

Hello,
I have an MDE application where I use a bound object frame to display an
image. This frame is updatable and bested on the contents of an OLE field.
My problem is, some images display as the image and some display as an icon
with the file name below. The process I'm following is as follows;
Right click
Choose "Insert Object..."
Select "Create from File"

Hi, I have a frameset with a menu down the left and a main frame on the right. (The menu contains a flash jukebox, which I why it's in a frame, so that you don't have to restart the jukebox every time you click on a link in the menu.)
I have named the main frame name="main" in the frameset, and all of the links in the menu have target="main" in them. But when viewing it in Firefox it doesn't open the links into the 'main' frame. I've got...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
