Any DB2 Knowledge?

We have a lot of questions in our new DB2 forum but unforunately we don't currently have many experts. If anyone has the time to answer some questions over there please do. Even a little knowledge could help as the questions range in difficulty.

I want to run an http server but I don't know how to get started. I've read through the documentation for the relevant modules, but I don't have enough http knowledge to get the initial spark I need, and I can't seem to track down the knowledge in question on the web or at the library. Maybe somebody can point me toward some resources? In case you feel like answering a specific question, here's one: How does http addressing work? I...

Hi, I've learnt and used Java and Python for a few years now, on bits of my thesis work etc etc. I will have to say that I love both languages and the possibilities they can provide. More recently, due to the toolkit that I use, I've been using Python. And I found that my Jva knowledge slacks a little. So, I'm looking for some tips on how to maintain the knowledge on both areas. Has anyone done it?

Does anyone know of a place that has a collection of tips and tricks or hard-won knowledge in regards to .NET. You know what I'm talking about, that kind of knowledge where once you learn it you say to yourself: "Oh man, if I had only known how to do this months ago!" "I can't believe I've been doing this the hard way for so long!" "This will save me so much time now." "Wow, this way really speeds up my application." "This is sooooo...

Greetings, I have to admit that I'm still a beginner in the database field, but I'm actively studying, and this is why I will be utterly grateful for the proper, accurate, and wise guidance to the right direction or specific paths of database studies. I simply want to make my first major database project a "personal knowledge database" or a "personal encyclopedia", so to speak. By this I mean that I want to gather diverse,...

In the article, the description for "Modiy DLL That Contains Consumers That Use Managed Code and DLL Exports or Managed Entry Points" suggests the creation of the class ManagedWrapper. If I need to build multiple mixed mode dll's used by a consumer application, do I have to implement multiple ManagedWrapper's (each embedded in indiviudal DLL project) and call all of them in my consumer application?

Hi It's maybe offtopic, but do you guys have an ideea of how to develop an knowledge base for troubleshooting an application? Picture this. After deploying an application to multiple locations, we receive many requests for troubleshooting the application. Even if the application works fine, the users will always ask for our help. It's vry simple for the customer to call and say: "Hello, the application doesn't work. I know that there...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
