Creating MDE file for Access database having problem

1 New Member
I am trying to create a mde file from a mdb file. (I usually have no problem doing this). I have updated my database to have a form dump into Outlook to be mailed out. When I try to create the mde file it provides me with a message that I cannot because of a compiling error due to my report I mentioned above. Is this because it is exporting the information into Outlook? How can I get around this?

Hi,

Why do you post this here?

But however enter in your mdb and in your module From Run or Debug in VB Compile it! If everything is ok then continue to mde file!

Here is an example of Access creating a single page PDF file. The text in the textbox is scaled to fit horizontally into a grey box 100 pixels wide that is fontsize pixels high. Clicking the command button creates the pdf file. Be sure to close Acrobat Reader before creating another file with the same name. Form code is followed by module code. No stream compression or pdf linearization is used in this example. Note that the special...

I have been having endless difficulty creating reports/queries that set any relevent parameters from controls in forms. I am creating an application under access 2003 but will target access 2000. The access file is in access 2000 format. I have a form that will hold the relevent parameters for the query/report that reports the statistics for all job records that match a certain criteria. These are: - A Customer Name.

G'day My attempt to create an MDE file was unsuccessful. The attempt produced an error that effectively said the (MDB) file was to big. The MDB consists of about 30 tables, 50 forms and 3 Modules. Have others encountered this problem and if so, have the found a work around? Tony

Hi, I'm creating a CMS that I would like to be plug-in based with different plugins handling different kinds of content. What I really want is to be able to load/unload plugins on the fly without restarting the application. What I did was to create an AppDomain that loaded the plugins and everything was great, until I tried to pass something else that strings between the domains...

Hey All, I'm having a little problem here. I have a project that I'm working on that involves a MySQL server database backend. I'm having no problem creating the database on the fly if it doesn't already exist and using it once it's created. My problem comes into play when I run the program for the first time. I'm wanting to have some kind of flag that lets me know that the database has not yet been created, so that I can call my...

Hi, i'm building an web application for anonymous users. They can take a look in the website, nothing more. In order to perform other actions, the anonymous user must be logged. So i create an aspx page with the CreateUserWizard control. The user can fill his username, password etc .... My problem is: when an user fills everything and clicks on button "create an account", nothing happens (no error, but no user account created). I...

This is NOT a complete OO perl tutorial However I thought it could be beneficial to explain some of the basic concepts, and allow some users to simplify the software design process. I have found it to be extremely useful and beneficial to create my own "custom" modules. It (among many other things) allows you to type less. Or to make your keystrokes matter more, however you look at it. (If you do even look at it.) Things the reader...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
