Would you please tell me why the _visible statements are not working in the code below?

Many thanks in advance for your help and suggestions.

I am new to this group, and relatively new to python programming, however, have encountered a problem I just cannot solve through reading the documentation, and searching this group on google. I have written a theme in python for the superkaramba theme engine on kde (see http://netdragon.sourceforge.net - if you are a kde/linux user, it is a great visual applet engine). I have uploaded it to www.kdelook.org for others to download and...

I know I've seen this somewhere, but can't seem to google it. Is there a way to use an alternate statement separator, other than the default ';'? jw

I'm having a little problem here that seems difficult to solve - to me. I'm working on several tables at one time and once in a while I need to update them based on a previous select statement. This ends up with 3-5 statements but every single time I do it this way, mysql chokes after the 3rd statement, no matter what order. I'm on Mandrake Linux 9.1, PHP 4.2.3 with mysql 4.0.11a and Apache 1.3.27. Everything else works like a charm...

Hello all, I was wondering if there were some sort of limitations on the "if" statement? I'm writing a program which needs to check a bunch of conditions all at the same time (basically). And I'm pretty sure the rest of the program is working just fine. The only thing I could think might be wrong is that the if statement can only hold so many values in itself? Let me show what I'm doing: if (table001]>>5]&b&0x1f] != 0 &&

I am writing a parser to read in ftp log files and insert into a databse. I have everything working fine, except the legacy billing system being used generates bills for each user instead of the master account. Therefore, as a bandaid, I need to attach an account field to each uid for each insert. I figured I could do this using more if statements within my loop, which seemed to work for one, but as I added an additional it stopped working...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
