Hi,
I have a page that uploads files to my server and I wish to display a
"Please wait while uploading" page to the user while the file is uploading.
I have been able to redirect the user once the file is finished uploading
but am not sure how to do it while file is uploading.
Some sample code would be welcomed with open arms.

I have a problem with my progress bar, as shown in the attached
code, the values on the bar are incremented within a threaded timer event.
The timer works fine and ticks all the way through. However when you Add a
new status bar to the form with a Progress bar and then immediately perform
some intense programming that uses a lot of processor resources, the bars in

I am trying to implement a file upload progress indicator (doesn't have to be a progress bar) using atlas... I do realize that the indicator cannot be implemented using Update panel control, but is it possible to implement it using some other control, for example a floating window?

I will try my best to ask this question correctly. I think in the end the
code will make more sence of what I am trying to accomplish. I am just not
sure of what to search for on the net.
I have a form that has a button. ( this form is a child form of a parent
form ( main form ).
Anway...in this child form I have a button, and if clicked a bunch of code
will get executed.

I'm in a slight dilemma.
I have an updater program that checks for pending updates and
downloads them if the users chooses to.
Since i dont need a windows form to check if there is an update , I
dont use a form unless i have two. This , creates either one of two
problems. When i'm downloading asynchonously , the main thread exits!

I'm using an async page to kick off a couple of asynchronous web services
using the PageAsyncTask class.
I'm also testing a progress bar that uses an Ajax UpdatePanel and Timer
control to postback every 5 or 10 seconds and increment the progress.

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
