Inserting a Progress bar to a Status Bar

Is there a way to add a Progress bar or any other control to a Status bar?

You can create a progress bar, set the parent property to the status bar,
and then adjust the location and size properties based on the status bar.

I tried it but it is not working for me ...

I know there is no Parent property for progress bar in the property window..
so how I am going to set it.. I don't think that status bar can act as a
container for the progress bar.. but in IE word you have it..

Can you illustrate ur comment a bit more so then I can figure it out.
