Hi,
I'm using a "classic" asp-page and a .net-component which I want to call
passing a Recordset as a parameter. I have a reference to ADODB in the .net
component which should supply a COM rapper for a Recordset. In the .net
component code looks like:
using ADODB:
public void MyFunction( Recordset rs )

Hi,
In my application I get lots of different sorts of information from
databases. As such, a lot of information is stored in DataSets and DataTable
objects.
Up until now, I have been passing around chunks of data in
DataTables/DataSets, simply because that was the format that they were in
when the data was taken from the database. Now, I know this maybe a pretty
silly question with a standard "it depends" answer, but I'm going to...

Hi
From what I understand, you can pass arrays from classic ASP to .NET using
interop, but you have to change the type of the.NET parameter to object.
This seems to be because classic ASP passes a variant containing an array,
and interop expects a parameter of type object if you are passing a variant
(you are expected to cast it to the correct type in your code). I'd like to
find a way of passing arrays so that you don't need to change...

Hi Friends
I want to develope a custom control in .net which can be used with any
project. I am writing a function in that class which I want to take any
object as parameter. For that I have used Object class as parameter.
Now it can take any object as its parameter. But the problem is that I
want to access the values of the private or public member variables of
the passed object, for which I may have to typecast the Object class...

Hi all,
I'm starting this new project in which I'ld like to implement sort of a
design pattern I have seen being used in the CodeIgniter framework.
Basically, the site will examine the URI and based on the segments of the
URI it will fire up some controller class, for instance, say I have an inbox
in which end-users can view messages they got from other users, they'ld
start at:

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
