How to include sound in Flash

Hellow to all,

In am working in Dreamweaver, In my project i want to include flash files to this project, i am included flash to dreamweaver, that flash file is working in only design time.
My Question is.

1. How to flash files in dreamweaver at run time.
2. How to include sounds in flash.

Hello Suresh,

The First Question (" to run the Flash file using Dreamweaver" ?)
Step 1: In the flash run the fla file so that it converts to swf file
step2 : now go to dreamweaver , in the main menu you will have a flash symbol.
Slep3: Click on the Flash Symbol and the select the file and insert it
Step 4 Now run the file in the brower.

Hey Suresh,

There are a couple of ways to add sound to a flash file. What is it you want to use?
1. Importing small samples (like clicks, horns, beeps, small music samples)
- File->Import->Import to library, select your file and import
- Make a layer in your timeline named Sound, insert a keyframe on the Sound-layer where you want your sound to start. You've got some effects, like fading, available in your propertiesbar. That's all..

2. Use actionscript for larger music files (like mp3 or other formats)
Use the loadvariables function in Actionscript to refer to a file on your server. More information on loadvariables in Flash-help.

Consider that importing music to your flashmovie will increase the size of your movie and therefore the loadingtime on your website.

you can run your flash in dreamweaver , you can only import the file in a blank box. now run your dreamweaver in brower view

you can run sound in flash
import a sound in A.V.I. format in flash , it will go to your "Laibrary" in "window bar" , now go there and drag and drop it in your " flash stage " now run your movie. you sound can run now

import a sound in A.V.I. format in flash ( the sound must be A.V.I. , but if you have no A.V.I file. you can make a A.V.I sound format , but you must use " sound converter software ), it will go to your "Laibrary" in "window bar" , now go there and drag and drop it in your " flash stage " now run your movie. you sound can run now

or now go to " window bar" . in this bar you can find a free sound laibaray . now drag and drap it in your flash stage and

Not to sure what you know about export a Flash file to Dreamweaver.
So here goes
1. When you have your flash project open go to File to Publish settings.
2. Select the formats tab and select the type you want Flash to export.
this mostly will be Flash (.swf) .
3. next select the Flash tab and choose the setting you want.
I have mine for
Version Flash Player 6
Load order: Bottom up
ActionScript version ActionScipt 2.0

Options to Protect from import

Audio Sream MP3, 48 kbps, stereo
audio event: MP3, 48 kbps, stereo

once that is done click the Publish button.
Normally flash will save the file where your project is. It will have an ext. .swf (I will it Suresh.swf)

You need to take Suresh.swf to where you are making your website ie the folder.
Now you need to open your web page that you want to put Suresh.swf at.
Once your web page is open you can do several things.
you can click and drag Suresh.swf from the Files menu to where you want it, or you can Got to the Insert Menu and click Media then to Flash and find Suresh.swf.
Your chose here.

When you up load your webpage with Suresh.swf make sure you have Suresh.swf in the right dir. or it will not work. Try to keep both files in the same dir.
