Unable to get Registration Key for Rickworld "Find and Replace" software

2 New Member
I have been a user of Rick Fisher's "Find and Replace" software for many years. The product is very helpful in software development. I have grown dependent on using the product.

And would now like to use it with Access 2010 development.

I have made multiple attempts to get a registraton key for version 9.0. (Including actually sending a check to Rickworld-
It was not cashed or returned.)

I am getting no responce from Rickworld. I have asked them to call me (providing my phone number via email) so I can determine why they are not responding to my communications. They have not responded. Rickworld provides no phone number for customer support.

1) How can I communicate with Rickworld? Again emails are not being answered. Is there a phone number I can call?

2) Is there an alternate product the same type of features as "Find and Replace"?

BudG, Did you every get a reply or license from Rickworld?

I'd like to buy a license too. Faxed in order form, emailed it in, still no reply.

Tried finding phone numbers for his address online. To date no one has called me back.

Hope the guy is OK. Would still like to use his software.

Need a reasonable priced find and replace plugin for MS Access 2010 and 2013. This seemed to fit the bill. Hope we can still get licenses.

Short answer - Sent another check via certifed mail - with another strong request to respond. Rick e-miled me that that the key I already had was good for Access 2010. He sent me that key and it worked. Dumb move on my part - not realizing that the key I had (for 2003) was still valid for 2010. But I had made that purchase many years ago and had not kept track if it. Rick told me that he had been "out of town" and that he would rip up my check. But the check ended up being cashed and the disk I ordered was never sent. I am not really too concerned about this- Just happy to be able to use the software in 2010- I really need it for the kind of work I do. Botton line is Rick is not a bad guy but is (in my opinion) less than very effective administrativel y. He probably is losing a lot of business and money because of this.

Hi, I have the following jsp page. I am able to view only a part of it(until the occurence of the first City text box). If i remove the first few fields from the page, I am able to see a few more fields at the bottom. My form class contains all the properties that are used in the jsp page. I don't know what I am doing wrong. I am using struts1.1 & JDK 1.4.2.

I have encountered a situation where I am unable to remove a .NET assembly from the GAC. The message I receive is "Assembly 'assemblyname' could not be uninstalled because it is required by other applications." Although I have seen this before when trying to remove .NET assemblies that have been installed via an MSI package, I now get this message while trying to remove any assembly I've added to the GAC. Using gacutil does not work...

I am trying to develop a beta version of some software in Visual C#. The software needs to expire and basically self-destruct in 15 days. How do I get the program to do this? The program needs to check the system date every time the application is ran to see if it has expired. I also need help with programming registration keys in this software, much like the ones needed to install Windows and Office. Thanks!

I just upgraded to PHP 4.4.2 on my Slackware 10.2 system. And Apache/mySQL/PHP all work great through a browser. No errors. But when I try to run a PHP script through the command line, which I need to do, I get blocks of errors like: root@slackserve:/var/www/htdocs# php ./phptest.php PHP Warning: Unknown(): Unable to load dynamic library '/usr/lib/php/extensions/mysql.so' - libmysqlclient.so.14: cannot open shared object file: No such...

Hi, I would like opinions on a shareware issue. If shareware uses an online database to hold registration codes, which get copied locally and therefore only needs to check online if the shareware is not yet registered or if the registration code was lost, should there be an "Is it okay to go get your lost registration code?" message box? I've been told that certain firewalls will disallow everything until you've allowed it. I imagine...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
