I want to populate list boxes in an ASP page from ms access lookup
lists, (lists only not separate tables). I don't want to create
separate tables for these lists, as they are only 'headings' and won't

I have a database with four table. In one of the tables, I use about
five lookup fields to get populate their dropdown list. I have read
that lookup fields are really bad and may cause problems that are hard
to find. The main problem I am having right now is that I have a report
that is sorted by one of these lookup fields and it only displays the

Dear all,
I am not able to access some fields of my table in .mdb database, which
was created by some one else.
when I reach to the wizard step where I can choose fields to make
relations, I dont have checkboxes next to some fields. They are
basically, primary and foriegn keys which have data type autonumbers and
contains GUIDs as a thier data.

(single column not a table.)I don't want to create tables just for
lookups as the values will be descriptive only and will never change.
What would be the command to rerieve these single column lookups in

Would someone please explain how I can activate the pull down lookup fields
in a db grid.
I have created a SQL database within ACCESS and converted to SQL using the
upsize wizard.
The database consits of 5 tables. 4 of these are options that the main table
can select but I am unsure how to set up a column so that it looks up one of
the other databases (like a db linked combo box).
