ossSetAssertionCallback while install Linux Client

Hello,

Linux valinor 2.6.9-22.EL #1 Mon Sep 19 18:20:28 EDT 2005 i686 i686
i386 GNU/Linux
I've tried to install the Linux client and it went fine, but with a
minor error:

(...)

Executing control tasks:.......Success
Updating global registry:.......Success
Updating the db2ls link:.......Success
ERROR:The value "DB2SYSTEM=valinor" could not be added to the Global
Profile
Registry. Return value is "127".

Now I'm trying to create a new instance:

[root@valinor instance]# ./db2icrt -a SERVER -s client -u db2inst9
db2inst9
DBI1295E The instance list could not be updated.

The error says that my profile registry is not setup.

But if I try to setup the value above, I get:

[root@valinor instance]# /opt/ibm/db2/V9.1/adm/db2set
/opt/ibm/db2/V9.1/adm/db2set: symbol lookup error: /opt/ibm/db2/V9.1/
adm/db2set: undefined symbol: ossSetAssertionCallback
[root@valinor instance]# echo $?
127
Undefined Symbol ? This looks bad.

Any ideas ?

Thanks.

I'd recommend opening a PMR with IBM if you can.

Where did you get this client? If you tell me *exactly* which client to
grab and test, I can check it out.

Thanks,
