Connecting to DB2 v8 on z/OS from RAD v7 on XP

P: 1
I am trying to create a database connection directly to DB2 v8 on our z/OS mainframe, from Rational Application Developer v7 on a windows XP desktop.

I read somewhere that a type 4 driver (DB2 UDB Universal Driver?) is required.
If this is true, where do I get it from, and what folder within RAD does it need to be put?

We already have DB2 Connect set up for access to the mainframe. Our LEI activities are accessing the mainframe through this connection. So we can use the existing IP address, userid and password that LEI is using.

What I need to know is:
what pieces (files, software, etc.) are needed to set up this connection, and
what are the steps, in sequence, to get this connection operational?

Thanks!
