Need Data Migration Points(Sybase to DB2)

Greeting,
Can anyone tell me the points to keep in mind while
migrating data from Sybase to DB2 especially in case of LOB data. I
know the books available on the IBM site, but if still someone can
provide me their own specific points?

Any help will be appreciated.

TIA

I would point you to the Migration Station, there are some good
articles on Sybase:

http://www-128.ibm.com/developerwork...igrate/db.html

On that URL you will also find a link to a SQL Server to DB2 Migration
redbook, which I know is not Sybase, but there is a large overlap.

As for LOBS, DB2 allows LOB columns, which can be stored in LOB
Tablespaces - there are some restictions and best practices to be aware
of, all covered in the info above.
Another difference is the Case Sensitivity, DB2 is Case Sensitive, for
Data and Catalog entries (though you need to explicitly create an
object that is not uppercase).
