Hello,
we are facing heavy troubles when migration from DB2 V7 to DB2 V8. The
main problem is that in key-process the APPLHEAPSZ and/or PCKCACHESZ
exceeds. We are using the JDBC type 4 driver.
The following statement is causing the problem:
SELECT pca.stocknumber , price.pricetype , price.amount, price.currency,
avail.inventory state, avail.sellstate , avail.availabil itydate,
avail.beginsell , pca.staginggrou p FROM PURCHASEALIAS pca LEFT OUTER
JOIN AVAILABILITY avail ON (pca.availabili ty = avail.pk) LEFT OUTER
JOIN PRICE price ON (price.product = pca.pk) WHERE pca.mandant =
'WBDE' AND pca.stocknumber = '295006'
The statement is quite trivial and the explain says that everything is
accessed by an index.
Our APPLHEAPSZ is set to 8192 and the PCKCACHESZ is set to 200 * 8.
Has anyone similar problems or a solution ?

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it. ...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For...
