Hi all,
I'm running DB2 8.1.5 on Windows 2000 professional SP4.
When I try to start Control Center, I see the splash
screen for a while, then it closes and nothing else happens.
It happens with "Activity center" (Since I'm running the
italian version, I don't know the
english name of this tool, I mean db2tc.bat).

This one has me a bit confused and I'm not finding what I
need in the MSDN or by searching these forums, so here
goes...
I have a rather large, complex code-in-page WebForm
(don't ask) and a section of that Form is 4 or 5
ASP:Panels pretending to be a set of Tabs, each with its
own section of the form.

I have a user control being used instead of a frame page. when the user
clicks on a menu item I need to send the ID (integer value) of that menu as
a parameter in the postback of the user control which will be used to query
sql server to repopulate the datagrid in the user control.
I also wrapped the user control in a panel element so I could position it on
the page.
I'm clueless on how to get started with this.

Hi,
I have a problem of displaying data bound by a datalist control. In my
table, I have a field Start_date which has Short Date data type. I tried to
update this field by Current Date. After that, I display End_Date on the
DataList control. The output looks like 3/18/2005 12:00:00 AM . I'd
like to format data for this field to be 3/18/2005. Please help me.
Thanks in advance....

Does anyone ever see this happen.
I build a form with couple of textbox server control. When user inputs
character ` in there, after form post back, the textbox become a line
of string such as <INPUT id=_txtName style="WIDTH: 70%" value=`
name=_txtName>.
I can filter out ` from the inputs, but it seems like a microsoft bug
to me.

I want to be able (at run time) to center a control (like a text box) inside
a group box. Whats the best way to calculate this? Is there something in the
framework that tells you the area INSIDE a group box? And how does one
account for the wierd groupbox margins? (i.e. the top line, where the name
is, seems bigger than the rest of the groupbox border)

Hi!
On a form I have a calendar. The form is rezised to 1024x768 (Don't
worry - this is a training case) when loaded.
Now I want to center the calendar on the form so that its edges are
equally far from the upper, right, left and bottom borders of the form.
I understand I must use the location property, am I right?

I have taken a backup of a production database and copied it to a test
server. I'm attempting to use the Control Center to create the
database from the backup. However, when I get to the screen to select
the backup to restore from, there are no backup files visible through
the Control Center even if I navigate to where I copied the backup
file. Is there a reason why my backup files don't show up through the
Control Center? Thanks. Is...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
