I have been investigating how to create a multi page form in Frontpage that
eventually will allow an emailed result. I can write the asp to "post" from one
page to the next easily enough but when it comes to the last page, I can't
figure out how to email the results. the syntax "response.write" will write to a
web page but it won't fill in the content of am email. I thought of putting the
"response.write" inside the body of a CDO.message...

So here's my problem.....I need to set up different email
distributions based on which option in the following Select form has
been chosen....For instance if "Putaway" is chosen it needs to email
User1@here.whatever and User4@here.whatever but if "Loaded" is chosen
it needs to email User2@here.whatever and User3@here.whatever, etc,
etc...
I'm aware that the only thing that really needs to change is the
"Mail.AddAddress" line (at least...

We sent out an email today to a list of subscribers from our database using
ASP and CDO. For some reason, many people received it twice, including
myself. I checked the database and there were do duplicate records and I
know for sure that I have no other email address forwarding email. I checked
my code and all seems ok. Perhaps someone can take a look at it and see if I
screwed up somewhere? It was sent to over 9,000 email addresses. When...

I have a web form where a client can select which site members to send
an email to.
This form is populated from the contents of the member table, so the
form can have 0-x names listed on it depending on member expiration dates.
When the form is submitted, the code loops through the form contents and
sends an email to those members that meet the selected criteria.
All this worked perfectly when I was sending text emails, but since I

Any progammers looking for a killer app to develop? How about a voice
enabled forum?
One of the most powerful, exciting, and engrossing experiences on the
Internet is the Forum. The first great Internet forums were the
Usenet newsgroups. Usenet is still a powerful force, but many
different types of forums are also very popular (such as message
boards like Vbulliten and XMBforum).
I love forums. Love em love em love em. My web site...

When I click "save" after adding a new record (which contains, among other
fields, the person's email address), I want an email to automatically be sent
to that person (at the email that is in the field of that record). How can I
do this?
Thanks so much, it really means so much to me!!!

Does anyone know of a good way to kill the session of a single user?
I need to locally simulate the arrival of a user at a given point in my application
and then them waiting sufficient time for session to expire.
A perfect solution would be a winform app which I scould run on my dev box
to monitor the sessions of a given app. I would use this to see when the
session is generated for the user as I log in to my app and then have a...

I have a file called email2.asp which I am using to mail data obtained
from a SQL query. I would like to pass the holiday_ID value in the
querystring attached to the end of the URL. It all works except that
I can't get the value of holiday_ID included as a querystring. As a
test I can insert a value after the ?id= and this is passed as a
querystring.
I am sure it's just the syntax that I am having problem with

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
