Hi everyone,
I'm having problems displaying a date in the correct format and I was
wondering if anyone knew how to help.
I'm using pear to extract a date from our back end database (the date
is in DATE_FORMAT_ISO_EXTENDED), and I was to display the date in
"Wednesday, February 23rd 2005, 11:04" format.
I'm using something like:

I seem to be having a problem displaying time stored in mysql. The
format stored in the database is 13:15:05. The database data type is
time. I'm using asp vbscript and sql to retrieve the time store in
the database. However asp recognizes the data type as date and
displays the date instead of the time. If I change the data type in
mysql to varchar then asp will display the time correctly, but I
cannot do it this way. I want to be able...

I would like to display a listing of files on a web page as follows:
If there is only one file: display the section name and then display the
current file.
If there is more than one file (for the first page): display the section
name, the current file and a few archive files.
If there is more than a page full (for each additional page): display the
section name, and the next set of archive files.

I've got a report that puts dates at the top of columns and the user
is prompted to enter a beginning date when the report is opened. That
date is put in a textbox in the first column like this:
=DateValue()
Then the next columns are textboxes that add 7 to the previous column
for the date display of the next week like this:
=+7

Hi there,
I have a form in an Access project that contains a subform which
displays the results of a query of the style "select * from
where = #a certain date#". In the main part of the form
the user can change the date, which will force a requery in the
subform to bring up records from the date selected.
My question is this... The query in the subform is a very simple one,
with only three fields being returned. In the interest of...

I must be having a brain freeze because I can't figure out how to display
dates older than 1970.
I have birth dates stored in MySQL as "date" data types (exp. 1955-04-06).
I'd like to display as "April 4, 1955".
I've tried using date("F j, Y"), but only get "December 31, 1969".
I'm using PHP 4.3.8. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hello,
I'm still pretty new to PHP and MySQL, and have a PHP scripting
question.
If I'm querying DATE info from a MySQL database, and displaying it
with PHP echo statements... is there a PHP script I can use to convert
the DATE data to standard calendar format?
Example:

I am trying to get to grips with the asp.net ajaxcontrol toolkit, and am
trying to add a tabbed control to the page.
I have no problems within the aspx file, and can dynamically manipulate a
tabcontainer which has 1 panel already, however I want to try create the
TabPanels dynamically. I followed the advice here:

With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies.
