I am using http to access my cube (MS Analysis Server) and there are users
who are getting "Query could not be processed. Access is forbidden"
intermittently. Can someone help out and let me know what is causing this
issue? Some users are not getting this error.

Just wondering if anyone has hit the following issue and how you might
have sorted it out.
I am using the command:
DoCmd.TransferText acExportMerge, , stDataSource, stFileName, True
after setting stDataSource and stFileName to the desired values. Most
of the time it works, but occasionally, typically as code changes are
being made to the module, the following message appears:

Please help. I am using a Access 97 database with Windows 2000 and
Windows 98 - no problem. I now have two new computers with Windows XP
Home edition and as soon as you edit or try to print this error

The instruction at "XXXXXXX" referenced memory at "XXXXXXXXXXX". The
memory could not be "written".
Click on OK to terminate the program.
Any ideas?

Does anyone have any idea how to recover from a run-time error 3002
which I get after creating a workspace 242 times? Or better yet, avoid
getting it in the first place?
I am creating a workspace with a blank password for different Users in
order to find out which Users do not have passwords. This works just
fine if I do it a few times, but if I want to do it periodically with a
loop, it bombs out after 242 times of finding a user with...

Hello, Everyone...
My name is Chris Wogksch. I have a point of sale application developed in VB6 using MS Access 2003 as the database. I've been running versions of this app for over eight years, using vb5/Access 97 and later vb6/Access 2000 and 2003, without issue.
Recently, I've started selling my latest version to liquor stores in my local area. The typical installation setup is a peer-to-peer network with three workstations; a...

Thanks Peter,
I thought I'd give an update on this problem. My application had 2
assemblies that contained classed for the Data access and business
logic layer. It was on one of them that I was getting the Access
denied error. After checking different settings and googling I wasnt
able to pinpoint the problem and as a temporary fix I decided to merge
the two assemblies into one, my logic being no offending assembly no
access denied...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
