Hi,
The easiest way as I see it is to write a procedure in db2.
You'll get to know the differences.

Cheers

I'm not kidding, the only reason yesterday you didn't hear from me was because I wasn't coding, but today I am doing something quick, and yes, as always it failed.. right at the SQL statement: $sql = 'SELECT v.nnet_produkt_varegruppe_navn, ' . ' f.nnet_produkt_farge_navn, ' . ' s.nnet_produkt_storrelse_navn, ' . ' k.nnet_produkt_kvalitet_navn, ' . ' p.* ' .

I think everyone who used Python will agree that its syntax is the best thing going for it. It is very readable and easy for everyone to learn. But, Python does not a have very good macro capabilities, unfortunately. I'd like to know if it may be possible to add a powerful macro system to Python, while keeping its amazing syntax, and if it could be possible to add Pythonistic syntax to Lisp or Scheme, while keeping all of the...

I have 2 tables, one with names, and another with addresses, joined by their CIVICID number (unique to the ADDRESSINFO table) in Oracle. I need to update a field in the NAMEINFO table for a particular surname in a particular town. I can select the records fine with this syntax (testing in Oracle SQL* Plus) SELECT NAMEINFO.LASTNAME, NAMEINFO.FIRSTNAME, NAMEINFO.MIDDLENAME, NAMEINFO.GENDER, ADDRESSINFO.REGION FROM NAMEINFO, ADDRESSINFO...

Hello all, I have a old application that works with Oracle 8i but when I use the same application on Oracle 9i I get an error when I try to connect - . This application is on a HP Unix box and is connecting to Windows NT Oracle database. There is no difference in the way the application attempts to connect. Its only when I point this app to Oracle 9i does this become an error. Thanks

Are there any important differences between the following two ways to convert to a type?... where 'important differences' means something more profound than a simple syntax preference of the developer. x = someObject as MySpecificType; x = (MySpecificType) someObject; Thanks.

I need to convert Oracle SQL SPs and functions to SQL 2005. Table and columns names do match. Is there any tool which will 'convert' Oracle script yntax to to SQL 2005 syntax? I can't install it on the server where DB is residing. I am looking for a standalone tool - pass input as Oracle Script and the tool spits out SQL 2005 syntax? Any one know if such a tool is available or I need to do manual work? Thanks.

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
