I'm on a Red Hat 9 system, which has Python 2.2.2 installed, and I installed
2.3 separately into /home/rob/Python-2.3/ (creating the symbolic link
"py23" to point to my 2.3 installation). Now I'm trying to work out the
kinks in the process.
Unable to run Idle using 2.3 the way I've got things set up, I created a
super simple Tkinter test program that just pops up a Label widget. I

Hi all, I'm desperately trying to get a simple mysql connection
working in php 4.3.9 and I think I have a doozy for you guys. First
of all, I didn't set up ANY of this system, I'm just working with it.
So, on Redhat, we have two versions of PHP - Apache uses 4.3.9,
there's also a 4.4.2 that is default from command-line. 4.3.9 was
installed by RPM, 4.4.2 was built from source.
I can get mysql.so loaded and working fine in 4.4.2, but...

i have successfully install DB2 UDB v8.2. but when i try to run the nsesetup.sh to install the net search extender v8.2, it gives me the following errors.
.../linux/JRE_HOME/jre/bin/exe/java: error while loading shared libraries: libpthread.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
i am using the Java which comes with the DB2 UDB v8.2

I need a big favor from you guys. I've installed Fedora 8 on a dell server in our office and i want to install sun application server on it. So I downloaded the "sjsas-9_1_01-linux.bin" file from sun's web site. and opened a terminal as a root user.
This is what I entered in the terminal.

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
