Hi,

Is it possible to run the db2 utility to load or import rows from Java?
I cannot find the correct command line structure.

Thanks in advance,

Alejandrina

apattin, pls try "Admin_CMD" procedure, I wish it will be fit for you.
For detailed information, pls refer to information center.

Thanks for the tip. It does not support load or import, though. Does
anyone know another way?

A stored procedure wrapper for the LOAD API call is described here:
http://www-128.ibm.com/developerwork...dm-0505stolze/

You could further parameterize this or adjust it to IMPORT if required.

Just remember that there is also a more powerful DB2LOAD procedure already
available in DB2. It was described here in this group in more detail a
while ago.

I want to load an applet locally from the client's hard drive from an html/jsp page served by Tomcat on the local machine or a remote server. The motivation is that I need to print to the local printer, but don't want to fork out $$$ for a cert. The applet is simple, and is only being used to try this whole scheme out. Here it is: // ------------------------------------------------------- import javax.swing.JApplet;

All, I'm having some trouble with understanding python's importing behaviour in my application. I'm using psyco to optimise part of my code, but I'm not sure whether it inherits throughout the rest of my application (read this as for any imported module) if I import in in a 'higher-level' module. For example: A.py ====

Hi. Can any of you explain the major differences in LOAD and IMPORT in laymen terms? I've read the DB2 docs: " Inserts data from an external file with a supported file format into a table, hierarchy, or view. A faster alternative is LOAD; however, the load utility does not support loading data at the hierarchy level."

Dear all smart experts, I write a simple Java UDF, which should run on DB2 v8 on AIX. But it can't load the Java class. Help ugently needed!! Thanks! I develop and deploy the Java UDF with these steps: 1. Write the java class, compile and make a jar (see below for source). 2. Call SQLJ.REPLACE_JAR ('file:/home/pws01ta/pws01ta1/examples.jar','test',0) 3. call sqlj.refresh_classes() 4. Create the function by running "create function...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development projectplanning, coding, testing, and deploymentwithout human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
