Debugging SQL stored procedure using developement center

Hi Frnds ,
I want to debug a stored procedure.
It is written in SQL. I am using Developement center for creating
stored procedures.

I built the stored procedure with Debug option and also performed BIND
operation.

When click on Debug menu and enter the Input parameters for the stored
procedure ,
i get folowing exception / error :
VL000039 - Debug started.
VL000039 - Exception occurred while debugging:
[IBM][CLI Driver][DB2] SQL0440N No authorized routine named
"DB2DEBUG.CREAT E_SESSION" of type "" having compatible arguments was
found. SQLSTATE=42884

Friends , please help me ..

How many parameters does your procedure have, how many arguments do you
pass? I presume (since you created the routine) that you have EXECUTE
privilege on the procedure?

I've spent the last couple of hours trying to figure out how to debug a Java stored procedure and am just going in circles. The last straw came when I got "Cannot open input stream for default" when I launched the IBM Distributed Debugger via D:\IBMDebug>idebug.exe -qdaemon -quiport=8000,8001 First, a bit of background. I am running DB2 V7.2 with Fixpack 9 applied on Windows XP Professional (all critical service applied). I've written...

UDB PE 8.1 on XP. Have developed a simple java stored procedure using Development Center. Performed a "Build for Debug". Now, how do I actually perform the debugging? There 'is' a "Debug" option available (by right clicking the Stored procedure), but it seems to just run the program rather than provide any help in interactive debugging (like setting up breakpoints, observing the various values being set for various variables etc.). Have...

I am trying to determine the behaviour of stored procedures in DB2 V8.2.x in Windows/Unix/Linux and how I can control that behaviour. Some documentation in the manuals is confusing the issue somewhat. First, am I right in understanding that the normal behaviour of a stored procedure, fenced or unfenced, is to only go into memory when it is invoked and to be swapped out of memory when it is not needed any more? Second, am I right in...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
