I was looking for an MS NG where I could post this question but couldn't
find any, so here goes.
What's more valuable to companies, a Master of Comp. Engineering degree or a
company certification (Oracle, MS, etc..) ? I'm a Computer Engineering
graduate student (w/ a BS in Computer Science) and I was looking for salary
information and where the hot jobs are, and with every search I execute, I
kept getting pages on how MS certifications...

Hi,
I'm about to embark on .NET/C# certification (after 6 weeks intensive
training). I'm actually heading off to India as it's cheaper....sign of
the times. The goal is to compliment my existing c++/java skills and
to enhance my employability (I contract in finance at the moment...I
have work but am planning for the future). As of now I have zero
experience in C#/.NET (I've done some J2EE work in the past but that's
about it:( ).

I am studying for the Oracle Certification program, OCA, and I am taking the Z-007 exam, however, I am having quite a time with it.
I have tried and failed 5 times to pass that exam.
I have only used guides like TestKing, or college courses I have taken to study for that exam. I have not gone to Oracle University, or taken classes like that, to prepare for certification exam.

I've read the FAQ at Zend.com but have a question. If I pass the PHP 4
exam, does it expire?
I am NOT comfortable with OOP yet - that is why I want to take the PHP 4
exam. I use PHP 5 now but not the OO funcationality.

Am I correct in assuming that it is NOT normal practice to repeat all the
certification exams for the new DB2 version when a new DB2 version comes

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
