Hello, can anyone help me, I am new to PHP.
I am trying to set up the Apache Server for PHP (in Windows XP), but when I
ad the line:
LoadModule php4_module c:/php-4.2.3-Win32/sapi/php4apache2.dll
(in httpd.conf), then the Apache Server refuces to start (I get "The
requested operation has failed" msg).

I can't get SQL Server to install and I can't figure out why.
All I am doing is trying to install SQL Server 2000 on my Windows XP
Pro (SP2) dev machine.
But it just hangs - the processes SETUPSQL.EXE and SQLSTP.exe load and
do nothing...

I know I drilled down into the Windows
folder\Microsoft.net\Framework\v1.1.4322 folder and looked at the version of
Mscorcfg.dll to get the SP level from the version number:
Mine shows v1.1.4322.573 which is supposed to be 1.1 with no service packs.

how to set it all up...
The steps for installation are as follows:
1) Install .NET Framework 2.0
2) Install SQL Server Express (This should be optional)
3) Install database files and start database service (but only if step
#2 was taken)
4) Install additional packages (really this is just executing an
installer for some 3rd party software that the application needs).
