Hi!
I've searched high and low for this on the net but stil haven't found an
answer.
I'm trying to install both postnuke and xoops on a win2k server with php
4.3.3. and mysql installed.
Both applications are loading terribly slow. When the page finally has been
rendered I got the following error:

Whenever I run python I get
"Warning! you are running an untested version of Python."
prepended to the start of any output on stdout.
This is with Debian and python 2.3 (running the debian 2.1 and 2.2 binaries
doesn't have this effect)
Does anyone have any idea how to stop this or have even seen it before?

I tell C++ Compiler to use level 4 warning instead of level 3 warning so
all variables can be calculated accuracy with no prone error.
It will give you a warning like this.
unsigned short A = 0x8002;
unsigned short B = 0x7FFF;
unsigned short C = 0;
C = A + B; // Warning loss high byte conversion -- 0x8002 + 0x7FFF = 0x10002

Hi
I observed something while coding the other day:
if I declare a character array as char s, and try to use it as any
other character array..it works perfectly fine most of the times. It
holds strings of any length. I guess what is happening here is that
this array initially holds only '\0' and hence is of length 1.

Hello everyone,
I'm migrating a C++ program from 32-bit systems to 64-bit systems. The
old programmers used some annoying assignments like assigning "long"
to "int", which may lead to data loss.
Is it possible to let the compiler (specifically, GCC) spew some
warnings on this kind of implicit type casts?
Or you suggest use some other static source codes analysis tools?
